Urgent Care for Cats and Dogs

Appalachian Animal Hospital is proud to announce that we offer Urgent Care service from 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday - Thursday.

This service allows us to offer more same-day urgent care appointments, as well as walk-ins for cats and dogs.

Our Urgent Care runs similarly to human providers' urgent care. We are able to provide full physical exams, run diagnostics, and perform outpatient care. If your pet needs critical surgery or more in-depth care, we will need to refer you to a local 24-hour hospital.

Urgent Care Conditions Treated:

Vomiting
Diarrhea
Ear Infections
Torn Toe Nails
Hives, Allergic Reactions
Laceration or Small Wound Repair

All equine and small ruminant patients should continue to call the After Hours number at 828-484-4722.
